关于 Brunei Dollar
The Brunei Dollar was introduced in 1967, replacing the Malaya and British Borneo dollar. A Currency Interchangeability Agreement with Singapore was also signed, pegging the two currencies at par.
The name 'Ringgit' is the Malay word for 'jagged', referring to the serrated edges of early Spanish silver dollars. 'Dollar' is also used in English.
